Abstract Summary
The Mount Saint Vincent University Psychology Department will be hosting the 33rd Atlantic Provinces Council on the Sciences (APICS) Psychology Conference May 6-7, 2009. APICS is a non-profit organization representing 20 post-secondary and research institutions in Atlantic Canada that is dedicated to educating students about research science. Designed to showcase the research findings of senior and honours level students, the annual APICS conference provides a venue where Atlantic Canadian students and faculty from all areas within psychology may meet to share new ideas and research findings in psychology. Part of the learning experience of APICS conferences is to have students involved in as much of the planning, organizing, and running of the conference as possible, so that it is a research conference for students put on by students with the help of APICS faculty members.
