Abstract Summary

This study will address the impact of oculopharyngeal dystrophy in the lives of those affected. In addition to dysphagia, our team will document several characteristics related to their physical performance, such as walking capacities and muscle strength. Also, we will look at their participation in daily activities, such as the ability to move in their house and communities, and to use the stairs. This study will provide essential data for preparation to therapeutic trials in this population. We will also be able to select the best instruments to assess the key problems in this disorder such as muscle weakness and fatigue.
