Abstract Summary

The 11th Conference on Metal Toxicity and Carcinogenesis will be held in Montreal from October 18-21, 2020. This conference brings together scientists from around the world and many sectors, including academia, industry, and government, all with a focus on the health effects of metal exposure. This will be the first time the conference has been held outside of the U.S. and the first time a female scientist, Dr. Koren Mann, has been the scientific organizer. The importance of this conference is highlighted by the need to understand the consequences to this and future generations due to exposure to metals such as arsenic, lead, cadmium and mercury.
