Abstract Summary

Clonal hematopoiesis is a common condition where a mutant stem cell excessively contributes to blood. We discovered that one type of clonal hematopoiesis activates the immune system to help patients fight cancer. We will test whether clonal hematopoiesis identifies immunotherapy-responsive patients and define how it supercharges immunotherapy treatments. This could help match future patients to optimal therapies and lay the foundation for new immunotherapies for cancers including leukemia and lymphoma.
